It has been five years since Apple and the dearly departed Steve Jobs introduced us to arguably one of the more revolutionary devices ever, the iPhone.  And as Tomi T. Ahonen put it, the history of mobile industry will always be divided into two eras -- before the iPhone era and after the iPhone era.

The “after iPhone” years have seen the landscape of the mobile industry redrawn and reconfigured.

And another good one to re-blog. Covers a very critical point that I didn't touch on much. Another aspect about control - for these mobile computing devices (yes phones) is touch. And that's something that Apple got so right with the iPhone.
